Updates: Data providers can post/update the information to the all the people via email or posting them on a wall(home page) of the SDI web-page. For instance, if one updates there dataset this messages reaches to everyone active on the site by posting this news on the wall of the SDI website.
Rating the dataset:Organizations/Individuals who used the data can share the experience with the dataset by rating.
Data, services, and applications should be prioritized based on customer needs, wants, and business requirements. For each offering on www.geoplatform.gov, there should be a customer/customer segment identified through market survey techniques.
The Platform should avoid a “build it and they will come” model.
